I’m Sam. I’m a registered civil celebrant (and certified dad) fighting a one-man battle against boring, long-winded and run-of-the-mill wedding ceremonies.
This is your special day, after all. Your ceremony – the part where you really make it official – isn’t something to be endured (while you wait for the ‘real’ party to get going).

THE CIVIL CEREMONY EXPERIENCE FROM $1100
This isn’t your stock-standard wedding ceremony.
Let’s fill the seats with warm hearts and tears of laughter – in less time than it takes for your shot of Dutch courage to wear off.
SEE INCLUSIONS…
- Initial meet and greet. I know how important it is to choose the right celebrant. Which is why I’ll always catch up with you first to ensure you like my style and approach. I’ll pay for the cup of joe; you share your vision for your ideal ceremony - including who you need to keep happy. If it’s a ‘yes’ from you, I’ll help you fill out the NOIM (legal paperwork) and then I’ll lock your wedding date into my calendar!
- Ceremony consultation. Next, I’ll send you an easy, stress-free couple’s questionnaire to fill out. This questionnaire guides me in creating a custom ceremony just for you.
- Ceremony run-sheet. This is the official plan for how your ceremony will roll. You’ll receive a draft run-sheet to review, offer feedback on and approve.
- Unlimited correspondence. I want your ceremony to be awesome. Which means you’ll have unlimited communication and access to me. We can meet again, chat over the phone, Skype or email as much as you need to ensure you’re feeling confident and happy about your wedding ceremony.
- Portable PA system usage. I come with my own portable PA system [no need to rent one separately] and you’re more than welcome to use this for your ceremony music too, if you need to.
- Marriage Certificate on the day. After the ceremony, I will send your paperwork off to be registered. You don’t have to worry about a thing.

TRAVEL
Currently I’m based in Queensland but am keen to travel anywhere you want me to go. By law, I can only marry people within Australia. So, I guess, that kinda bounds my services to, oh, 7.692 million km2!
